Today we have held a cake sale at our work and this has raised almost £100 to help us on our way to our target. Also, we are now featured on the TVACAA website.
We have just had a phone call from the Oxford Mail and are going to the office tomorrow lunch time for a photo ready for an article which will be published in the Saturday edition.

Less than a week to go now! Costumes are almost all organised and the vehicle graphics are on there way. Fund raising is making good progress but we still have some way to go to reach our target.
This month we have been featured in MG Enthusiast and so hopefully this will attract some more attention and help us reach our target of £1000.

The car has been on show at MGFest08 all weekend. A big thank you to all those that dropped money into the collection tins.
Not long to go now! We have a couple of things to sort out on the car, and need to finish getting all the bits for our outfits. We also still have a little bit of time before the vehicle graphics are ordered to sign up some more major sponsors. If you know of a company that might be interested in sponsoring us then let us know!

We now have our third major sponsor. Steve Marsh from A-Plan Insurance has confirmed that they will be sponsoring us for the event. As the car will be on show at MGFest08 this weekend, I am making up some temporary banners to go on the car to show the four sponsors. Collection tins will also be on the wing mirrors of the car so please feel free to put you loose change into these!

The site has been updated now to include the real-time GPS tracking for the car. This is the new widget on the left of every page, but also a larger version on its own dedicated map page. The widget will show the routes we have been on, but also a real-time view of where we are during the weekend of the run. Also, any pictures and video clips will appear at the end of the day, and will be geomapped to show where we were when they were taken. it will be well worth coming on to this site over the weekend of the run to check it out. it will also show the speed we are doing!!!
We have also added SouthMids Sportsters to our list of sponsors, as they are organising a leaving party for us at HMC Gaydon, and charging everyone £5 to come along, which will go straight in our fundraising pot. Please do check out our sponsors websites!

The start point has been announced and is to be the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon. The first car to start will be leaving there at 8.30am.

Received an email today from the organisers of Britball Run 2008, Britteam Ltd to advise that our application has been received and that we have been allocated a place. So it really is happening!
